Latur, Feb. 26: Point of sale retail solution company, GoFrugal along with its partner Privsoft Computers have made big wins in small cities like Latur in Maharashtra. GoFrugal devised a starter strategy to help its stakeholders and the company deployed POS solutions to facilitate retail billing.

It was all started in 2008 when Pravin Narke of Privsoft ventured into Latur as a channel partner for GoFrugal. With a new brand name unheard of in the territory and a market abundant with different local POS vendors who had small market share, it was a challenge to penetrate the market. But with the GoFrugal starter strategy, it helped its partner to overcome this challenge.

Privsoft had targeted single store retailer, whose expectation of a POS software was limited to billing and basic reports. With the GoFrugal’s Starter pack, the partner has outperformed local competition on the Product features, ease of installation and usage, the Pricing and quality of support provided.

According to Pravin Narke, “GoFrugal and the evolving retail industry have been my strengths. Its
starter strategy has helped me make a minimum of Rs.50,000 a month and I have increased my team to 3 and have plans of making it to a minimum of 10 if not more. Forecasting the market ahead I am putting my weight behind expanding my territories through the Starter strategy. We are also part of GoFrugal’s Assured Returns Partner Program.”

With Gofrugal partnership, Privsoft has installed 300 POS solutions in vertical like Pharma, Apparel and Footwear, Quick service restaurants, Baby and Toy shops, Book shops, Auto parts shops and for distributors of FMCG.
