In our past experience, we have seen that with each passing threat, the complexity is increasing day by day. This makes it more important for us to be on our toes at all times and ensure that we continue to protect our users. Besides developing new solutions.”
“Kaspersky Lab also focuses a lot on awareness and education for corporates & government houses via our partners. We strongly believe that our true value lies in utilizing our expertise on the threat and sharing with our customers. This meet gave our key partners important information on the strategy to be adopted to ensure that we maximize our success in the enterprise space”, he added.
He further said that increasing use of virtualized environments to reduce cost and increase flexibility has created specific areas of IT security complexity and it is observed that security is not given importance when it comes to virtualization and storage platforms. It is not a secret that Cyber criminals are becoming more and more smarter and at the same time the impact of losses due to cyber-criminal activities is becoming very high. Virtualization and Storage platforms are prone to attacks, if not protected well, Halde said.
Kaspersky Security for Virtualization delivers protection for VDI and virtual server environments such as VMware, Citrix, Microsoft and KVM platforms; while Kaspersky Security for Storage provides protection for data stored on EMC Isilon, Celerra and VNX, NetApp, Dell, Hitachi, IBM and Oracle storage appliance systems.
