Smartlink Launches Wireless Router Under Digisol Brand

Mumbai, Feb 25: Indian player Smartlink networks has decided to make use of the ‘Make-in-India’ concept has decided to rename their wireless product under the name ‘DIGISOL’.

“We at Smartlink welcome the initiative of ‘Make In India’ campaign by the Government and we want to extend our support by all means that we can. All our products are crafted and designed to bring convenience along with the best technologies for India and abroad. Even the branding campaigns have been designed in the conjunction with Government’s initiative,” said Smartlink Network Systems Founder and Chairman, K R Naik.

Smartlink Network Systems has recently introduced its next generation wireless router-DG-HR3400 under Digisol brand at its manufacturing plant in Goa. Built with an intelligent antenna technology to transmit multiple streams of data which enables receiving wireless signals faster, DG-HR3400, launched under the brand Digisol, can provide up to 300 Mbps speed as compared to the previous generation routers, which can provide up to 150 Mbps speed.

The new 300 Mbps wireless broadband home router will be available at a market operating price (MOP) of about Rs1,100 to Rs1,200 per piece. This price is around 25 per cent less than the price of other similar competitive products available in the market. The company aims to sell up to 25,000 pieces in a month. The company has its sole manufacturing plant in Goa which can manufacture about 1,50,000 units of the newly launched routers in a month.
