Bangalore: Edimax Technology, a provider of networking solutions, has said that it is focused on strengthening its channel across India.

With a strong network of channels, the company is now looking to increase its reach and penetration across the country, the Taiwanese (Republic of China) tech company said this at the recent GATES ICT Reseller Summit 2016 held in Bangalore from October 4-6, 2016.

The summit focuses on bringing the ICT and channel community under one roof.

Sanjay Joshi, Country Manager at Edimax Technology informed that the event has helped Edimax to partner with IT reseller community which will help the company expand its business across India.
“It was an absolutely remarkable experience to build relationships and generate business opportunity,” he added.

Headquartered in Taiwan (Republic of China), Edimax was established in 1986. Over the years, the company has grown to be a leading manufacturers of advanced network communication products. The company designs, develops, manufactures and markets a broad range of IT networking solutions.

In August, the company announced the appointment of Modi Infosol as a distributor for Edimax and Edimax Pro range of products in India. “This partnership will enable Edimax to tap into new geographies; target over 2500+ channels partners and 400+ retailers pan India, to increase their reach and penetration,” the company said in a statement.

In order to get the best out of the business, Edimax is increasingly recognizing the channel scenario and accordingly planning to hit the market effectively taking into account the current market trends, Joshi said while addressing the importance of the India market.

“This event can be highly beneficial in the sense that after participating, we feel that it will help our company to find new opportunities to serve customers in a better and efficient way, gain market share and take Edimax to a greater level,” he added.
