Mumbai: Mobile manufacturer Huawei said it has launched 17 service centers pan India to strengthen its after sales service for the mobile handsets. These centers will provide first-class support and repair service for Huawei and/or Honor devices exclusively and are located in prominent locations such as Delhi, Chennai, Bengaluru and Mumbai, the company said. Later they may expand the service centers across other cities and towns.
“As customer satisfaction is one of the most important aspects, with the launch of these exclusive service centers, we can now assure best-in-class after sales service to our consumers,” P Sanjeev, Vice-President Sales, Huawei India-Consumer Business Group, said.
Besides handset repair, replacement and software updates, these centers will also provide appointment booking, free recycling of waste mobile phones and other electronics products and special service for the selected model user, the company added.
As part of these efforts, Huawei has also launched an app called ‘HiCare’ for its digital users.
Last year, Huawei reiterated its commitment and focus towards partners through its various initiatives and programs. Huawei Delivery & Services business group covers a huge work force of key partners with over 1400 teams across India.
The company launched an Integrated Service Delivery Program (ISDP), a new platform for Huawei India’s partners serves as an end to end solution for partners to record their progress and apply resources more efficiently. The ISDP tool is application driven and provides cloud driven easy inventory management which leads to lower operating costs while facilitating ease of access.
Huawei also partnered with Redington India to distribute and market Huawei enterprise products and services in the country. Starting October, the Flex manufacturing plant in Chennai started manufacturing its Honor smartphones models. The plant will have the capacity to make three million units by the end of 2017. In addition, Huawei will be strengthening its after sales services in India with over 200 service centers, including more than 30 exclusive Huawei service centers in India, around that time, the company said.
Huawei also strives to educate their partners in global industry standards to digitize Indian telecom industry through the ‘India Partner Competency Training’ and the ‘EHS Competency Development’ programs, which are aimed at providing free training to all partner employees at Huawei India’s domestic world class training labs and at demo sites.
To facilitate such training programs, Huawei has 5 labs across India in New Delhi, Pune, Kolkata, Lucknow, and Bangalore where we have trained over 1400 partner employees to develop their skills and instill the core values that makes Huawei a global ICT ladder.
