Intex Bags Awards for Service Excellence From Assocham

Intex Technologies, one of the leading mobile handset and consumer durable majors, has recently been felicitated by the industry body Assocham with the Award for Excellence in Service 2017 at an event held in New Delhi.

The award was given away by Udit Raj, a Member of Parliament in the Lok Sabha, representing the North-west Delhi constituency, to Arvind Raina, General Manager – Customer Service (Mobile) and Biju Abraham, DGM – Services (CDIT), Intex Technologies.

The award was given to recognize the company’s efforts in providing best services to customers aimed at improving a customer’s buying experience. The award also recognized the steps the company is taking towards resolving the sources of customer dissatisfaction and implementing competitive services that enhance customer confidence.

Keshav Bansal, Director, Intex Technologies said, “We are extremely happy to receive this award from prominent Industry body Assocham, serving as an encouragement for the hard work and efforts undertaken by Intex towards consumer service and satisfaction.”

The ‘Excellence in Service 2017’ by Assocham is a recognition of excellent service providers that have been performing brilliantly over the years while maintaining the quality and delivery of the services.

In recent months, Intex is looking at garnering 40 percent growth and Rs 140 crore in revenues from its accessories business. The accessories segment at present mainly consists of unbranded products. The company at present manufactures products in this category which includes power banks and chargers.

The company’s accessories business has already clocked revenues of Rs 100 crore last year. With this products category pegged to hit the market, Intex realises that it needs to pump up the channel ecosystem even further.

The company is working towards developing a distribution and after sales support network. It has also created almost 20 Master Intex Care partners, 100 plus Exclusive Service Partners along with that it has also created 1200 plus other Serice Partners called ICPs or Intex Care Partners.
