Puducherry: ITTA-PDY (Information Technology Traders Association-Pondicherry) celebrated its 2017-18′ family meet with its members and also conducted a job fair to hire new recruits.
ITTA-PDY’ President D. SoundaraPandian delivered a short warm welcome speech to all participants. The family meet had very well planned agenda and after prayer song, our members’ children were singing, dancing, reciting and chanting etc to show off their talents and received great appreciation with loud applause. D. Soundarapandian gave away the gifts on behalf of association to them to encourage for the future endeavor of the children.
ITTA-PDY’ office bearer team have honored by memento-shields their fellow members who have completed all assigned activity successfully for the welfare of association. The honoring categories includes children swimming competition, orphanage donation, sports, members tour, family meet, e-waste awareness program, GST training with Tally, health insurance, personal accident policy, COMPEX 2018(Computer Exhibition), job fair as well as finance management training programs to name a few.
Children of members who scored high marks in board exams were recognized. Besides, ITTAPDY’ members have honored their past and present presidents for their leadership qualities. Members have taken their group photo with their 2017-18 Uniform, Homemakers, Children and officer bearers have taken their group photo as memento.
Further, to resolve the issue of unavailability of right human resource, the association has conducted a job-fair along with their exhibition. ITTA-PDY used to hire employees as and when required through known circle for reliability purpose or even from a HR consultancy firm. At one point of time, they faced several challenges in the hiring process too.
The association has now decided to conduct the job fair along with COMPEX-2018 to reduce expenses involved for the fair. The public started calling us after in receipt of our COMPEX-2018 advertisement that also had information related to job-fair.
Soundarapandian said, “To give a clear idea about how are we going to conduct this fair, we Printed a banner as ” Job seekers are requested to fill up our application and hand-over in our JOB fair stall and after a week time, applied candidates are called for an interview.”
The association had received 25 filled applications through this exhibition, though that was not appreciated widely and definitely solved our purpose.
