New Delhi: With an aim to drive innovative solutions for the ‘Always on’ enterprise, Veeam, a provider of availability solutions has introduced new initiative in alliance with global partners to pledge $200 million to current customers adopting cloud and DRaaS services.

Available from immediate effect, the Switzerland based IT vendor is offering customers using its on-premise backup and recovery solutions up to $1000 in free to move to its cloud backup and Disaster Recovery as a Service (DRaaS) from Veeam and its partners.

Affordable prices and enhanced functionality to meet availability and compliance requirements are top reasons for DRaaS to gain momentum. Gartner estimates the DRaaS market will nearly triple within the next three years, to a revenue point of $3.4 billion by 2019.

We are witnessing accelerated adoption for cloud platforms to transform business and high demand for Availability platforms that are flexible, scalable and secure to leverage multi-cloud environments,” said Ashok Acharya, Regional Director for India and SAARC region.

As cloud adoption continues to gain momentum, the company is encouraging customers to adopt cloud based solutions and through Veeam Free Cloud Services program support traditional resellers with enhancing their portfolio with cloud-based services. Veeam believes that this active campaign with resellers and partners will help cloud services businesses to generate recurring revenue streams

“Veeam is committed to the growth of our channel partners and this initiative is a testimony to deliver long term business value while fulfilling our vision to shift towards cloud based solutions” he further added.

The offer covers all Veeam Availability Suite, Veeam Backup & Replication and Veeam Backup Essentials end-user customers with active Veeam maintenance contracts. This campaign will initially launch in North America, with plans to expand into EMEA, LATAM and ANZ regions in the next few months.
