Karbonn’s New Facility In Haryana To Generate 4000 Jobs

Domestic smartphone vendor Karbonn Mobiles has set up a new manufacturing plant at Bawal, Haryana. This is the company’s second facility in India, the other being Noida. The new facility, as per the company, has been set up in 6 months and has 22 assembly lines. Karbonn Mobiles aims to manufacture around 30 million devices from this facility annually and employ around 4,000 people. The government of India will spend USD 7 billion on IT products and services in 2016, an increase of 3.1 percent over 2015, says Gartner. This forecast includes spending on internal services, software, IT services, data center, devices and telecom services. Govt Intends To Offer More Incentives To Mobile Part Makers

In a bid to boost local manufacturing, the government is planning to offer more incentives to mobile part makers.
