Bangalore, Dec. 16: Moto-G tops the lost of most searched in technology segment in Google search website for the year 2014.

Google India has announced its 2014 Year in search lists and the term Elections 2014 topped Google India’s trending lists this year.

In technology,the path-breaking Flipkart-Moto-G partnership listed first in the search the year 2014. The is followed by iPhone6, Samsung Galaxy and others. With the trends show that Moto-G most searched in Google, it is a high alert that the customers are becoming more tech-savvy and the conversions towards buying are also high.

In the most searched segment, Flipkart and Snapdeal stand in the second and fourth places respectively.

Rajan Anandan, Managing Director, Google India, said, “The findings of Google’s Year in Search is a clear testimony of India’s growing interest in issues of national importance. We’ve seen an exponential increase in the number of Internet searches this year, not just on desktops but also smartphones, a trend that is reflective of India’s growing digital emergence as the next billion Indians begin to embrace the power of the Internet.”
