Bengaluru: The newly formed Dell EMC has named Anil Sethi as new channel head For India. Sethi will play a critical role in unifying each legacy company’s partner programs for the India market.
Based in New Delhi, he will own the primary responsibilities for Dell EMC’s sales efforts across its commercial and enterprise channel partners, including distributors, resellers and system integrators.
“Channel partners, system integrators and distributors play a critical role in the growth story of Dell EMC. Going forward, our partners will play an increasingly important role in our go-to-market strategy and growth of the business as we seek to become the industry’s most trusted advisor,” Sethi told Channel Times.
“Built on three core tenets – to be Simple, Predictable and Profitable – the new Dell EMC Partner Program will ensure all partners are positioned for growth and success. I am thrilled to be part of this exciting journey in leading our combined channel business for India,” he added.
Sethi will also be responsible for the implementation of new Dell EMC Partner Program, scheduled to come into effect in February, 2017.
He will report directly to Tian Beng Ng, Senior Vice President and General Manager, Channels Asia Pacific and Japan (APJ), Dell EMC.

With the new structuring of the company and changing roles, it has segmented the markets into two. Commercial team headed by Alok Ohrie and Enterprise segment headed by Rajesh Janey (the erstwhile head of EMC India). While the channel team which will pitch into both segments will remain the same. This common team will be headed by Sethi himself the company confirmed.
