__p Amkette India plans to target the Soho and SME segments through its retail outlets in the near future.
p____p “Currently, Amkette has more than 3,000 outlets including retail outlets and stores. These constitute the Amkette Media Points,� said Rajiv Bapna, director, Amkette India. “Through these Media Points, we have a presence in 110 cities across the country. In the next few months we will focus on the home and SME segments, by introducing several new products and increase our visibility.�
p____p Amkette Media Points stock over 150 products including 22 fast moving products. “These include our fastest moving products such as CDRs, CDRWs, SOT products and floppy disks,said Bapna. �In order to reach the Soho segments, we will shortly be increasing the range of fast-moving products available at the Media Points from 22 to over 70.�
p____p The company has also unveiled the Enjoy Amkette Program, a point-based reward system for customers. This comes on the heels of the Enjoy Amkette Program for retailers and resellers, currently running in 60 cities nationwide. In addition, Amkette has several new product launches in the offing including one towards the end of May.
p____p �We will be coming out with several new schemes for our channel partners in the near future,said Bapna.
