Mumbai: Axilspot , a global leader in enterprise WLAN solutions has flagged off its operations in the country’s enterprise wireless segment by launching Rscan range of products in the national capital, New Delhi. The company has announced appointment of four regional distributors to develop its channel base in India.
Explaining Axilspot ’s foray in India, Bruce Zhou, CEO, Axilspot said, “India being one of the major economies of the globe is of utmost importance to us. We at Axilspot will strive to amplify the growth of digitization in the country with our cutting edge, disruptive wireless networking solutions for end to end networking requirements of enterprises.”
“We have already set up our India office in New Delhi and call out to channel partners in the country to associate with our channel oriented growth objectives”, added Zhou.
Pinaki Chatterjee, Regional Director, India & SAARC, said, “We will be building team Axilspot wherein we will focus on partner driven mechanism and ensuring maximum profitability for partners. We will also zero in on feature development catering to any enterprise requirement.”
Talking to Channel Times, Axilspot spokesperson said that the company would be working on Regional Distribution model to secure the interest of local SI’s and to provide quick local support and availability.
“Currently we have appointed 4 regional distributors (Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Delhi, Maharashtra). For rest of the states, we are still in the process of identifying partners and discussions are on. By the end of this year, we are anticipating to sign up two more, Here it seems like, for this year, we are still to conclude the year and window is open till January end”, the spokesperson said.
However, the company did not reveal the names of the distributors citing the company is yet to signed the deal. “Apparently all the distributors are in transition phase. The names can only be published once Axilspot will be making an official statement about the Channel Partners and Distributors”, the spokesperson said.
“Being an enterprise brand, we understand the agony of SI and SPs, we are here to support SI’s and provide an absolute local and speedy support and availability, here we will strictly follow the channel policy”, he added.
Rscan is a patented technology which provides ultra high-speed, stable and large capacity Wi-Fi access. The multi-beam smart-selection antenna array system (Rscan) is Axilspot original patented technology registered all over the globe. Rscan represents years of research by the top-notch RF team of leading scientists in microwave and Wi-Fi industry, which initiatively applies the LTE base station antenna technologies into Wi-Fi transmission.

Chen also said that the company is expecting to secure 3-5% of the market share in the WLAN market in India over the next one year.
