Eset Announces Sakri IT Solutions As Its Key Distributor In India

After suspending the distribution partnership with ESS Distribution, Eset has announced that Sakri IT Solutions will be Eset’s key business partner in India. Sakri IT Solutions will be Eset’s key strategic business partner in the country and will continue to support and expand the company’s channel partner network.

Eset recently concluded its long partnership with ESS India distribution Pvt. Ltd. The decision is aligned with Eset’s strategic vision for the Indian market and plans to expand its presence within the country while continuing to promote products and solutions via its channel partners.

“Eset has achieved phenomenal double-digit growth in India over the last year due to the strategic moves and restructuring that the company has undertaken. Our USP of faster, lighter and proactive protection has won us many clients. India will continue to be a focus market for us and we are looking forward to the next phase of our growth in the country,” said Parvinder Walia, Sales and Marketing Director for Eset Asia-Pacific.

At present, Sakri IT Solutions operates via a network of 20,000 channel partners in India, including large retail stores, hypermarkets, IT and computer stores and traditional single door retail stores. Ravi Lakshman K, CEO, Sakri IT Solution said that the company has rolled out several channel initiatives to position Eset’s offerings in the market efficiently.

“As a key partner of Eset in India has opened up new challenges and new avenues for us to increase the reach of Eset in the Indian market.We plan to expand our reach by penetrating in tier 3 and tier 4 market. We are targeting significant long term growth opportunities, especially in emerging markets where AV penetration is still in small numbers. We see a huge potential for Antivirus products in the developing market like India. We are looking forward to establish alliances with distributors in such markets. We will train them and their channels and make the product available in the respective markets. We will continue to deepen our relationships with existing partners and grow our channel partner base to benefit end customer. Nevertheless, we will be even more aggressive in our market approach and penetration”, said Lakshman.

The distributor has rolled out the channel loyalty program – SPISE Sales Program for Incentivizing System Engineers for Eset Retail channel partner and Service Engineers. The program is beneficial for the field engineers, channel partner employees and not just for the owners of company.

“We want to take Eset business to the next level, we will be investing significant effort in the promotions of premium consumer product portfolio which is the mainstream volume market and also in the Eset enterprise security We will roll out attractive scheme and rebate programs for channel partner on the quarterly basis. This will be backed up with the competitive pricing and margin structure for Eset consumer as well as enterprise product portfolio”, Lakshman added.

Eset will be launching version 10 of its consumer products in India this coming October. Eset NOD32 Antivirus, Eset Internet Security and Eset Smart Security Premium will provide users an enhanced browsing experience and superior detection and protection capabilities, in addition to new features such as webcam protection, home network protection and script-based attack protection.
