Vadodara/Ahmadabad: In a bid to strengthen its ties with channel partners, global end point security solution company ESET recently organized a multi-city channel meet for its partners in Gujarat. The channel meets were focused on partners training on ESET’s enterprise product portfolio. The events held in Vadodara and Ahmadabad in association with its regional distributors Sakri IT Solutions and Rachaita Infosoft were attended by over 250 partners.
The objective of channel meets was not only to improve know-how of ESET consumer products among partners, but also to enhance their technological competence on the ESET entire range of security solutions. Sakri IT Solutions showcased the entire product portfolio in the Enterprise, SMB and Consumer space. The company also discussed the features and marketing strategy for the newly launched ESET V10 security solutions.
The channel meet was addressed by Rajendra Warriar, Director, Rachiata Infosoft who gave insight on his business experience with ESET. “We are committed to build a channel-focused culture that understands, appreciates, and supports partners’ growth and success and ultimately the value that they bring to our mutual customers”, Warriar said.
Rachaita Infosoft Pvt Ltd (RIPL) is Sakri’s regional distributor (ESET consumer, SMB and Enterprise solutions) for Ahmedabad and Baroda. Rachaita has operation spread over central and north Gujarat catering to almost 2000 plus partners with offices at Baroda and Ahmedabad.

The Pune based distribution house has a well-established distribution network of partners and resellers. The company currently has almost 10,000-15000 partners working directly or indirectly in its distribution network across 400 plus location pan-India. To support the distribution network, Sakri has 19 branch offices and sales fleets of around 100 plus business professional across the regions.
Speaking exclusively with Channel Times, Mahesh Nawale, Marketing Manager of Sakri IT Solutions said that the company is now relooking at the current distribution landscape, redefining customer segments and aligning the geographies to expand and enhance its businesses in India to stay upbeat in the competitive market.
Talking about the key thrust areas of Sakri, Nawale said that Software, IT Security, Surveillance solutions would be the key focus areas for the distribution house.
“We plan to add new products in Surveillance segment and consolidate revenue for FY2017.We also have prime focus on the promotion of Mobility and Multi Device Security products in FY2017. On the brand building front, We will try to position ESET Security Suites in top 5 AV vendors in India. We will continue to add more people as we are on an expansion spree. The focus on partners will continue with more emphasis to reach more locations”, Nawale said.
Apart from ESET, Sakri IT Solutions is associated with Airtel, TATA and Reliance for the internet services, Vintron (Surveillance), Cisco, (Router, Switches, Firewall and wireless devices), HP (Servers and Workstations) and Hitachi (Data Storage Solutions). Sakri also distributes its own tablet under the brand name WinTab.
