Ahmedabad: With the aim to educate its members, the Federation of Information Technology Association of Gujarat [FITAG] has planned to conduct GST Seminars across six different locations in Gujarat, covering all its 33 member associations.
The first of this series of Seminars was recently held at H. T. Parekh Hall (Ahmedabad Management Association, I.I.M. Road, Ahmedabad). More than 200 members from different associations participated at the event that was kick-started by FITAG Mentor Nandak Pandya who spoke about the new Challenges of GST and the new approach partner members should adopt.
Pandya prepared members in Accepting New Challenges, Vision, Mission and Growth of Business by value addition. This was followed by a speech of Vice President of The Gujarat Sales Tax Bar Association Varis Isani, who discussed at length the current taxation system, tax scenario under GST, the importance of GST, its challenges and how to achieve smooth migration.
The event was sponsored by Tally, Smart Station, Dhyeya Mentoring and I-Jet. On behalf of Tally, Zonal Sales Manager Siddharth Kothari gave a presentation on the key Milestones of GST, Input Credit adjustment, GST return and Type of returns. There was also a Q&A session to further clarify the doubts of members.
FITAG was established in February 2000 the aim to advance knowledge of both the individual as well as industry and leverage the impact of the association on the industry.
Regarded as one of the largest state level It federation of associations in the country, the Association was formed to help the members and leaders of associations of all types and sizes in Gujarat to help utilize their potential at best.
