Let The Change Start From Our Own Computers

Own Computers

-Duraikannu Soundara Pandiyan

We human beings are always attracted by the buzzing trends and fashion, be it a hairdressing or a footwear. Well, when we think about migrating from brick and mortar to online trading, I have personally anticipated how it is going to work out for each retailer in practical life.

At the outset, I think our community retailers should sell only specific products on their online store, which other retailers at least in the surrounding area shouldn’t focus and everyone should have their own e-place of their own and the link can be directed towards the apex website. This will ensure that the online shopaholics do not negotiate price with us for the same product.

Obviously, we need to invest more in SEO and web promotions to bring out our sites on the first forum flash or other websites. Online walkers can click on our website and go to the relevant products they are in search of, according to their region. There should be no online war amongst us, like we are having now or we should not feel threatened by our opponent who is online at the moment.

The demand of matching online trader’s price to brands are appreciated. If that works-out, that is the quick remedy. Subsequently those online buyers will turn to our retail outlets with the aim getting a better price along with good service support. In our day to day life, are we not attracted by the exclusive online offers? We have an excuse for our own convenience. After all, I am buying only products like Nike, addidas & apparels which doesn’t carry any warranty, but still that affects all the other related outlets.

Well, changes happen, based on peoples wishes and convenience in any field. Hence, to improvise business and survive we may have to adopt the changes what the majority prefers, irrespective of whether we like it or not. In due course of time, the selling trend may turn to the concept of a street sellers, where one would be selling electronic gadgets door to door, which could be faster than online too.

At the end of the day, any businessmen would like to go home with a better margin and let’s look for the betterment.
