Bengaluru: Networking products provider NETGEAR has appointed Marthesh Nagendra, as Country Manager for India and SAARC region. A NETGEAR veteran with extensive experience in building the company’s channel partner base in India, Nagendra will spearhead new growth initiatives, focus on streamlining channel structure and partner base, enhancing quality of customer service and expanding retail presence including branded offline and online stores.
“Marthesh will drive strong regional growth, strengthening our business model and provide leadership to our channel and solution partners in the region. His strong industry experience and deep knowledge of NETGEAR culture, technology and business philosophy will be invaluable in growing our brand multi-fold in India & SAARC,” said Simon Tsang , Vice President APAC, NETGEAR.
The company said it is rolling out an aggressive partner program to recruit, train, certify and support a wider base of solution partners in India and SAARC. The NETGEAR Solution Engineer Certification program will additionally ensure that all those who sell NETGEAR solutions in the region are well trained and duly certify to support customers across home, business and service provider market segments.
NETGEAR’s aim for 2017 and beyond is to move purely into solution based selling across its range of innovative networking products that connect people, power businesses, and advance the way humans live, work and play.
On the retail front, the company intends to open around 50 partner managed NETGEAR retail outlets across India which showcases entire range of NETGEAR products to improve visibility, customer touch and prompt support for its extensive range of Wireless, Storage, Security and home automation products.
