Many articles are available which substantiate the rapid growth of online shopping India. Hope no one has any disagreement on this. Nowadays people from many associations have come forward and are making noises against this established and rapidly growing trend of online shopping.
It is very natural that people whose business interest are at stake are bound to oppose, but the other side of the coin is why none of them are pointing finger on the sellers, who are offering lower prices on popular E sites? Why can’t they act against the one who is indulging in unethical practices? And why can’t they think of a solution to fight this trend, which is almost impossible for any individual to fight with.
I feel sad when I see the people who belong to the same industry criticize the model of Online shopping, which is a comprehensive solution from the Information Technology, also well accepted by the people of India. No one can stop this until its legal, which is a hard reality whether we like it or not.
Government of India will not stop this for many reasons and one of them is that the exchequer is earning and promoting organized retail. My small submission or suggestion is that people must come together in spite of their personal differences and chalk out a plan with a detailed thinking, then execute the same as soon as possible.
The longer they take, the more they lose. So, please explore possibilities, come forward and fight it for our own interest.
Federation / Association of any part of India are welcome if they want a quick solution to save their business establishment and their livelihood. Change is natural and is bound to happen at times. We have to accept it. After my last innovative attempt in the year 2010 when we introduced “LIVE WEBCAST,” which was executed well in COMPASS 2010 for all the four days and was recognized, acknowledged and appreciated by the entire media of eastern India. We have also stared working on this very subject “Online Shopping Market in India” .
We expected the present situation in the year 2011 and started working on this project to counter it. Today I can proudly say that we are almost ready with our unique and comprehensive solution to fight this, which is also an out and out E commerce solution about to be launched in India.
