New Delhi: Sophos has registered a 40 percent surge in the number of global partners selling the company’s endpoint and network products. It has also seen more than 90 percent jump in the number selling its Sophos Central management platform.
The year- ago quarter was a damp one for Sophos but the fiscal third quarter is when the increase happened which ended December 31. To drive more growth and leverage its “100 percent channel-first business strategy,” the vendor has updated its partner enablement program.
Sophos is set to launch its Sales Samurai training program this year, where there are two levels to it- blue and black belt. The blue belt provides foundational knowledge of the products and sales skills. While black belt is a high-end level and imparts dynamic level of training.
Last year the company launched MSP program, managed through Sophos Central. More than 2800 MSPs registered for it. A year ago, the security vendor also acquired Phish Threat technology which enables partners to provide new services. It allows partners to do simulated phishing attacks for customers.
Sophos is also in the process of designing its Cloud Security Provider program. The company is introducing a Fast start program to enable highly skilled people to get certified faster and the cyber security vendor is also launching a Channel Influence Community to provide feedback to the company.
