Called Personal Accountant, the product is currently available at an introductory price of Rs 1,950 that is valid till December 31, 1999.p____p Personal Accountant is reengineered from TCS� popular accounting package, EX Next Generation. Speaking on the product�s target segment, S. Ramadorai, the company CEO, said, “With the introduction of Personal Accountant, TCS has taken the initiative to introduce best practices in business accounting and prepare the small business community for the e-Revolution of the future.”p____p Added Phiroz Vandrevala, the executive vice-president, “This step from TCS would definitely encourage use of legal software and also address the Y2K-readiness of the small business community.”p____p Personal Accountant is being marketed through TCS� wide network of business partners and alliances.
