Toshiba Resolves After-Sales Service Complaint In 10 Days

Mumbai, May 14: Toshiba India’s memory products division has worked on a fast-pace mode to resolve a customer from Kancheepuram.

E.Eswaravelu of Degetal waves, Kancheepuram, a channel partner had sold Toshiba External HDD of memory 500GB to a customer in the same city.

The customer faced issues with the HDD and the service partner of the company Rashi Peripherals had rejected stating that the problem was with the connector and wasn’t covered under warranty period.

R Ramesh Kumar, secretary of Confed-ITA, brought the issue to the notice of ‘Channel Times’, seeking help.

After the escalation with Polad Garda, Senior Manager- Marketing, Storage devices, Toshiba India, immediately looked into the issue and resolved it within 10 days. “We have informed the customer and the replacement has been dispatched. Thank you for highlighting the issue”, Polad Garda said.

“We thank ‘Channel Times’ and Toshiba for resolving the issue. As a secretary, I think this is the first success of my team and would like all the vendors to take after-sales service seriously”, Ramesh Kumar said.
