Deliver 3D Printers

Mumbai: 3Idea Technology, a Mumbai-based distributor and supplier of 3D printers, scanners, and consumables teamed up with global manufacturer of 3D printing firm, XYZprinting, to distribute 3D printing products to the Indian market.

While 3D Printers are used for a wide range of activities across industry verticals, high price is often a deterring factor for Indian businesses and the technology is unthinkable to SME and MSME segment. It is here that 3Idea Technology and XYZprinting have a role to play.

Without mentioning the price range, the company officials confirmed that these printers and scanners would be made available “at the most affordable rates to suit the needs of Indian businesses.”

Founder of 3Idea Technology, Mayank Mittal said, “3Idea Technology is leading the way in what would undoubtedly have to be the ‘Third Wave of Manufacturing’ given 3D printing’s capability to effect radical changes in the manufacturing sector.

XYZprinting with a global market share of 31 percent in the 3D printing space, is ambitious about its Indian foray in partnership with 3Idea Technology. Mittal believes, with a team of specialist partners, 3Idea Technology holds a distinct ‘Ecosystem Advantage’ over its contemporaries in the 3D printing market by virtue of its ability to comprehensively meet the 3D printing needs of customers with its wide range of products.

Commenting on the group’s India strategy, Mittal added, “We have seen a surge in demand from MSMEs belonging to different industry segments. The 3D printing market in India is still at a very nascent stage, but a boom is just around the corner. The industry that stands to benefit the most is the manufacturing sector.

Mittal also stated that this augurs well for the Government’s Make in India and Digital India campaigns.

The Indian 3D printer market is set to touch the USD 80 million mark by 2021 as per industry experts.
