Dindigul: Ahead of the latest-GST being implemented across the country, the IT channels went onto get streamlined and organized in the services business part. With the new guidelines, every spend of the organization needs to be included with the expenditure accounts.
With such positive note for registered business owners, Tamil Nadu based IT association, Confed-ITA has come up with an advisory for their members to have a common service tariff across the state. With that, any registered member of the association is advised not to serve any customer lesser than the prescribed rates. The advisory, in the form of a table, will be circulated across the state in every shop of the members. Not just the rates, the rate advisory also tells the details of the time and distance for a service.
The categories included annual maintenance, remote support, toner refilling, ERP services, server installation, deployment of networking devices, services related to printers, sales, and support of software and more.

Confed-ITA has decided to move closer with the vendors ahead of the GST. In a communication sent to the vendors, the association had invited all vendors to organize product promotion activity cum dealer meet in all the districts through their local association. “All our member association has minimum 40-50 active members whose contribution will increase your product selling and may provide a win-win foundation for both of us,” the communique said. The association, through this activity, is planning to give the opportunity to all the vendors to reach out to the member associations across the state.
The association is also actively working on the database updating, creating a service assistance desk under the leadership of the current Vice-president Suresh Kumar on the genuine cases of members related to warranty are in the pipeline. During the forthcoming EC meeting in Tiruvannamalai, the pending accounts will be sorted out and there will be announcements related to sports activity.
