New Delhi, May 07: Chinese smartphone player Coolpad Dazen is looking to enter the Indian market with its new range of smartphones.
The company has beefed up its local team with the appointment of Varun Sharma as the India head, joins from Flipkart where he was the Director of Strategic Alliance. The company also has set vision to soon set up R&D centre and manufacturing plant as part of its commitment to ‘Make in India’ campaign.
Coolpad Dazen is one of the world’s fastest growing smartphone players and also the fastest growing online brand in China. As part of its commitment to ‘Make in India’ campaign, Coolpad Dazen is soon to set up a R&D centre and manufacturing unit in India.

Prior to joining Coolpad Dazen, Varun was Director at Flipkart and led Flipkart’s strategic global partnerships. He has several years of experience in leading and building brands for P&G in India and South East Asia. Varun is an alumnus of IIM Calcutta.
