Mumbai, May 30: In an attempt to grow the business of Manage Print Services(MPS) partners, HP India has launched new HP Express Decision Portal, which would allow partners to manage and grow their Managed Print Services (MPS) business.
The new portal is part of the HP Managed Print Specialist program, which allows channel partners to leverage MPS coverage nationwide. This structured program offers a suite of tools and resources that allows partners to focus on the MPS sales process and customer relationships without needing to make a substantial investment in new infrastructure, said company’s press release.
Available in late 2014, the HP Express Decision Portal is a cloud-based application that includes a pricing feature that offers greater visibility into a partner’s expected revenue. The portal also comes with business proposal and opportunity management functions that make it simpler and faster for partners to capture MPS business opportunities.
The portal will connect partners and HP sales resources. It will also allow for multivendor device support so partners can optimize, manage and improve mixed fleet print environments for their customers.
“Partners are looking for tools and resources that help them stay ahead of competitors and meet evolving customer needs,” said Bill Avey, vice president, Partner Managed Services, HP. “The HP Managed Print Specialist program helps channel partners in India access cutting-edge tools, solutions and innovation to accelerate their Managed Print Services business.”
The HP Managed Print Specialist program was first launched to channel partners in New Delhi and Mumbai in July 2013 and has since expanded to partners in eight cities. The growing program engages partners with customers across verticals including telecom, pharmaceuticals, manufacturing and Information Technology enabled Services (ITeS).
“The HP Managed Print Specialist program is truly one of its kind in India, offering tremendous flexibility with HP’s extensive MPS coverage and support across the country,” said Kailash Baheti, director, Powertechnics.
