International Association for Microsoft Channel Partners (IAMCP), the world’s largest independent Microsoft partner association with operations in over 40 countries, conducted its Chennai chapter quarterly session. The meeting was opened by Manu Bansal Director – Channel Development.
The session was open to all Microsoft partners, associated with Microsoft technologies as developers, resellers, systems integrators, in Chennai, and was attended by over 20 Microsoft partners.
Manu Bansal started the session with “The Road Ahead” where he briefly touched upon the focus areas for Microsoft FY20. He encouraged the partners to leverage all the programs launched by Microsoft for FY20.
Manu also encouraged more and more partners to focus on the cloud as that is the largest growing business for Microsoft. He also emphasized that Microsoft’s success depends on its partners and their innovative solutions which drive growth for our customers.
The first session “Understanding Azure Basics? was conducted by Mr. Nagarajan PV from Xencia Technologies. This session covered the cloud market potential globally and in India. This session elaborated on the IaaS, PaaS and SaaS models of the cloud. It also brought to light the new services available on PaaS. The feedback on this session was very good and we have planned upgrade session on Azure every quarter.
The second session was SysTools migration toolkit for Microsoft Partners, by Debasish Pramanik. This session covered the various tools and utilities offerings that SysTools has to offer.
The session was very useful to many partners who were looking for Migration tools and Utilities. SysTools also offers Cyber Security solutions that was of great interest to the participants. The session was well appreciated followed with a Q&A session.
The next session was on “Power of Teams” by Joseph Bright of Quadra. This session covered the many problems that Teams solves in terms of collaboration and single window for all actions. It was a very detailed session detailing each and every USP of Teams. It was a very interactive session and was very informative and useful for the participants.
