Intex Resolves Replacement Issue With Theni Partner

Intex

Theni, Jan 6: A six-month-old product-replacement issue between Rayin Computers based out of the city, and peripherals leader Intex, has been sorted out after ‘Channel Times’ escalated the issue through the website.

Ramesh Kumar Jeganathan, the partner from Theni purchased cabinets of which two turned out to be defective, which he promptly sent to the company’s service center in Madurai. However, the partner received the cabinets back in the same condition, he alleged.

“I sent the cabinet again to the service center in Coimbatore who told that the cabinet will not be entertained for service as it was more than 30 days from the purchase day.” Ramesh Kumar said adding that he was sent from pillar to post and did not get a solution for around six months.

Ramesh brought up this issue with ‘Channel Times’ seeking an escalation with the Intex team on the sidelines of a vendor meet.

The team from Intex immediately looked into the issue and sent the rectified cabinets to the partner. ‘I wholeheartedly thank this website for resolving the issue which, I thought is almost dead”, Jegannathan said.
