Computer accessories maker, Logitech has added 15 new technology partners under its Logitech Collaboration Program which include video conferencing partners as well as technology partner tracks.
The company also claims that its new collaboration program fetches the partners with access to its Software Reference kit, which includes APIs to connect Windows, Mac OS X as well as Linux applications with Logitech’s video and audio devices.
As per Joan Vandermate, head of marketing, Logitech Video Collaboration Group, the company has retained its top most position in the global list of webcam providers and is now also the leading vendor for conference room video systems.
”What we’ve heard from our LCP partners is that they want to do deeper integrations, more technical integrations. The other feedback that we’ve gotten from those partners is they want a deeper business relationship. What we’re seeing from partners is they really want to have a joint go-to-market, so we’re going to be doing a lot of co-marketing and joint go-to-market,” said Joan Vandermate.
The list of 15 new technology partners includes FreeConferenceCall.com, Fuze, StarLeaf, V-CUBE and VSee which will serve as the video collaboration providers for Logitech, while the partners joining the complimentary technology track comprise of names like HD Partners, Clary Icon, Iluminari, InFocus, mEdge, Media Network, Services, Pexip etc.
The program, as per Logitech harnesses a wide array of services including cloud video services, meeting room solutions and also helps third party software and hardware providers to enhance product functionality with company’s products.
