Rashi Peripherals will offer the new generation iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus. Customers will be able to pre-order iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus beginning Friday, September 22, and both will be available in stores starting Friday, September 29.
Redington will also offer the newly launched iPhone, iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus in the India market. Customers will be able to pre-order iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus. The pre-orders of the iPhone 8 models will also be available at Brightstar Telecommunication India Limited, which also happens to be the distributor of BlackBerry devices in India, or Redington India, which is among the top Apple resellers in the country.
Brightstar announced that starting September 22, 2017, you can pre-order the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus at various authorized stores in North and East region in India. The new iPhones will be available in stores starting September 29.
On the other hand, Redington announced that interested buyers of the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus will be able to pre-order on September 22, at the company’s 3,000 stores across the country.
In India, the iPhone 8 is priced at Rs 64,000 for the 64GB model and Rs 77,000 for the 256GB model. The iPhone 8 Plus, on the other hand, is priced at Rs 73,000 for the 64GB variant, while the 256GB storage variant costs Rs 86,000, slightly less than the iPhone X, which is priced at Rs 89,000.
Brightstar will also start accepting pre-orders for the iPhone X starting October 27. The anniversary-edition phone will be available at authorized stores starting November 3, 2017.
iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus, both come with a glass body. Apple claims that the glass finish is made using a seven-layer color process for precise hue and opacity. While the choice of materials has changed, the new phones are still water and dust resistant. Overall though, there’s hardly anything exciting in term of design.
The new 4.7-inch and 5.5-inch screens feature True Tone that promises to deliver natural colors. The company claims that these screens have the best color accuracy in the industry.
Both the iPhone 8 and 8 Plus are powered by Apple’s new A11 Bionic chips. Games will be delighted to know that the new chips deliver up to 30 percent better faster graphics performance than the previous generation SoC.
In terms of photography, the iPhone 8 Plus gets a 12 MP dual-camera setup. So, you can snap some pictures with bokeh effects. The iPhone 8 has a more conventional single lens camera. These phones can record 4K video up to 60 fps and 1080p slo-mo up to 240fps.
Apple has also introduced wireless charging tech on the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus. These phones are compatible with Qi charging standards. While this is a good addition, Apple surely lost an opportunity to add any killer features.
