Nagercoil, July 15: Tamil Nadu-based Confed-ITA, the association with more than thousand registered members, has decided to address the issue of unethical e-sale with the help of their own venture- ‘Con-Com’, which was approved by the executive committee recently.

What is Con-Com?
This format is similar to what the large format retailers do- unveil various shops under one name, create marketing campaigns across states/regions.

With the new plan in place, the association will purchase from the vendors/distributors in mass number. They will decide the price and the partners will be eligible for better rebate schemes. The association has also informed that the entity started by the association will be omni-channel and will sell products online too.

Former presidents of the Confed IT Association Muthiah R Pillai and B Kuberan were named the representatives of Confed IT Association at the national IT associations’ forum- FAIITA. It was also decided that another association ITTA-P in Puducherry will continue as a member of Confed-ITA.

Along with cricket, badminton is also likely to be added in the sports and recreation activities.
