Bengaluru: Networking solutions provider Edimax Technology has launched IAP1200 2 x 2 AC 1200 Dual-Band in-Walls PoE Access Point, a wireless solution with the latest IEEE 802.11ac technology for wireless speeds up to 1200Mbps. The in-wall design is specifically for existing building structures so one can easily change an existing in-wall wired Ethernet jack to a wireless access point.
Modi Infosol is the key distributor for the product. Global market research firm MarketsandMarkets says that the Power over Ethernet (PoE) market was valued at USD 0.45 Billion in 2015 and predicts to reach USD 1.04 Billion by 2022, at a CAGR of 12.56% during the forecast period.
