Togofogo, an online marketplace for buying and selling of pre-owned and refurbished smartphones, has announced an exclusive partnership with Lenovo for selling the latter’s refurbished laptops with one-year brand warranty on its website.
“E-commerce industry in India is witnessing a promising customer-demand not just for refurbished smartphones but across categories with a major chunk contributed by Laptops,” Soumitra Gupta, CEO, Togofogo, said.
“The laptop market is overwhelming, but the balance of performance and portability that Lenovo’s laptops offer makes them an easy-buy for customers,” he added.
Lenovo’s laptops are refurbished at Aforeserve’s refurbishment centre. Aforeserve is one of India’s oldest & largest chains with more than 4500 engineers that have been providing quality repair and refurbishment services for defective ICT devices, including those with expired warranties, since past two decades. Aforeserve provides Lenovo a comprehensive solution starting from refurbishment to sales and after sales service at a single place.
Having successfully sold 5,00,000 units of refurbished mobile phones in the Indian market, Togofogo now targets the second largest category in refurbished market, after mobiles. The laptops being sold on Togofogo include Quality Check, Certification, Extended Warranty, and Repair Services, maintaining the uniqueness of the platform.
According to data, there is a repeat customer percentage of 20% on Togofogo’s website which envisages the trust built by customers on the brand. The company recently announced an ‘On-Site’ repair service exclusively for Apple, Xiaomi and Samsung smartphones.
