Trend Micro Woos Partners To Promote SMB, Consumer Products

Kolkata: Endpoint security solutions company Trend Micro is focusing heavily on India’s consumer and SMB segment. Last week, the company, along with its exclusive national distributor, NNR IT Solutions, conducted an event in Mumbai for its premium channel partners to discuss and plan strategies to promote its consumer and SMB product line in India.

With 16 premium partners from across the country, the event, held for the first time in Mumbai, was a success, according to the company, where Trend Micro and NNR IT also assured their best support and cooperation to its Channel Partners along with it good margins and earnings opportunities.

In July this year, Trend Micro signed a distribution pact with Pune based NNR IT Solutions for its consumer line of business even though the company is looking to tap the large enterprises and SMB segments in the country.

Jagannath Patnaik CEO of NNR IT Solutions L.L.P said, “We strongly believe in consensus and involve all Premium partners in shaping the schemes, incentives and marketing activities to promote the Trend Micro Products in Indian Market. With our presence in major cities and having dealer’s network all over India we want to make Trend Micro leader in Indian consumer AV Market also besides Enterprise segment”.

With a presence in 15 states with over 50 locations and a reach of over 3000+ channel partners, the distributor is focused on channel development and have the policies and schemes that are Channel Centric.

Anand Shringi, National Manager Trend Micro said, “We are happy the way partners are taking up our consumer and SMB products along with our ND NNR IT Solutions, Trend Micro has technically very strong products. Partners will benefit from various marketing Initiatives such as TV advertisements and schemes which are being run currently.”

“With our technical expertise, partners can play a major role to make India virus free and help in shaping up a strong virus free Digital India,” he added.

In an earlier interview with Channeltimes, Nilesh Jain, Country Manager, (India and SAARC), Trend Micro said that the company is actively looking to work with channel partners who are specialized in specific technologies and industries.

Shringi further stated that the company will soon be launching AV and SMB box packs in the country.

Till date, NNR IT Solutions introduced two products into the market called Trend Micro Internet Security and Maximum Security with 10 user box and planning to come with some more products with various flavors to have complete basket for consumers.
