NativeDefence Unveils NativeX: One Platform for the Modern Security Operations Centre

Security operations centres across Indian enterprises continue to wrestle with a familiar problem: too many point solutions and too little unified context. CISOs today are managing endpoint tools, network monitors, vulnerability scanners, log platforms and compliance mandates such as those from the RBI, SEBI and ISO 27001 largely in isolation, leaving security teams to manually stitch together telemetry before they can even begin an investigation. It is against this backdrop that cybersecurity firm NativeDefence has introduced NativeX, a unified platform aimed at consolidating security monitoring, threat detection and continuous compliance into a single operational layer.

Srijan Nandi, Co-Founder & Technical Director at NativeDefence, said the platform was built to close a gap most CISOs recognise but few solutions have solved: organisations have accumulated separate tools for endpoints, networks, vulnerabilities, logs, compliance and incident response, yet lack a unified operational layer that turns the signals those tools generate into context, intelligence and action. NativeX was designed to bring security monitoring, threat detection, log and event analysis, vulnerability and configuration assessment, file-integrity monitoring, incident response and compliance visibility into one vendor-agnostic platform, reinforced at the network layer by NDOS — a security-hardened operating system with an integrated Network Security Monitor that adds deep network visibility, protocol intelligence and behavioural threat detection. Together, Srijan said, NativeX and NDOS create a connected security operations architecture spanning network, system and security telemetry through to detection, investigation, response and compliance, reducing silos and giving CISOs a continuous view of posture and risk.

Srijan described NativeX’s compliance approach as continuous rather than periodic. The platform maps organisational controls and evidence requirements against frameworks such as RBI, SEBI and ISO 27001, while also accommodating organisation-specific policies, with NDOS’s Network Security Monitor extending that evidence base into network activity that often falls outside conventional compliance monitoring. Unlike a generic SIEM, which is optimised primarily around telemetry correlation and detection, Srijan said NativeX extends that model into controls, evidence, posture assessment and remediation, giving teams a structured view of which controls are satisfied, where gaps exist and what remediation is pending — turning compliance from an audit-driven exercise into an ongoing discipline.

Srijan said NativeX’s detection methodology draws on multiple layers of security intelligence rather than a single technique, combining network telemetry from NDOS with system and security events, known threat indicators, behavioural patterns and contextual information to catch both known and emerging threats; events are correlated and prioritised by potential business impact, with the platform tuned to generate fewer, higher-confidence alerts rather than the maximum possible number — detecting early, establishing context quickly, prioritising intelligently and responding with evidence rather than noise. Set against an established SOC or MDR vendor, Srijan pointed to that same end-to-end context as the deciding factor: where established SOC and MDR models often leave analysts correlating data across multiple underlying tools to reconstruct an attack, NativeX combined with NDOS brings network, protocol, connection and behavioural intelligence together with security events and compliance context in one operational layer, preserving existing security investments while reducing tool and data silos.

Srijan added that NativeX uses a policy-driven, modular architecture in which detection logic, thresholds, correlation rules and compliance mappings are maintained independently of the core platform and telemetry pipeline, so that new threat patterns, risk-based tuning and evolving regulatory mappings can be introduced as configuration changes rather than platform rebuilds — giving CISOs a security architecture that keeps pace with changing obligations without adding operational complexity.

Bishwajit Sutradhar, Director – Sales | Alliances at NativeDefence, outlined the go-to-market side of the launch. Bishwajit said cyber hygiene and compliance obligations apply across every business vertical, including government and public sector undertakings, but that NativeDefence’s near-term focus is on SMB, MSME and government segments, supported by customised on-premise SOC deployments. On the channel side, he said NativeDefence’s strategy is built almost entirely around partners, with a transparent, long-term model spanning two categories of partners and particular focus on strengthening the SOC skill sets of its Authorised Service Partners (ASPs) and Managed Service Providers (MSPs); margins offered to partners, he said, are better than industry standards.

Bishwajit said that enablement runs through the Native Defence Academy, with ongoing training and certification from SOC L1 through SOC L3 to skill up ASPs and MSPs and ensure consistent customer outcomes. On why customers stay with NativeX over time, he pointed to three factors: compliance readiness, simplicity, and regular review of scope of work. NativeDefence ensures customers’ compliance checkpoints are in place ahead of periodic audits, keeps reporting and dashboard views simple, and maintains weekly and monthly reviews with every customer as a standard process.

With NativeX, NativeDefence is positioning itself at the intersection of network intelligence, threat detection and continuous compliance — betting that Indian enterprises, MSMEs and government entities alike are ready to consolidate fragmented security stacks into a single operational architecture.
