ProcureKey Wins Excellence in Strategic Sourcing Award at Procurement Summit & Awards 2026

 The category recognizes technology solutions that change how organizations run sourcing events and make award decisions. Procurement digitized the transaction end of the process long before it digitized the sourcing end. Requisitions, purchase orders and invoices now sit in an ERP, where they can be tracked and reported on, while the sourcing event that determines what gets bought and from whom still runs on email and spreadsheets. So the most commercially significant part of the process, deciding which supplier wins and why, gets captured as documents rather than as data. Because the platform is built on SharePoint and Microsoft 365, sourcing events sit alongside Outlook, Teams and the document libraries teams already use. It also connects to existing ERP and finance systems, so approved requisitions, supplier records and award data move into the systems of record procurement already runs on.

The platform deploys inside the customer’s own Microsoft 365 tenant. Bid data, supplier submissions and commercial terms never leave the organization’s environment, which means procurement, IT and security review one governance model instead of two.  AI does two jobs here. During sourcing preparation, it helps draft RFx documents and scoring criteria. During evaluation, it normalizes supplier responses into a comparable format and flags gaps, outliers and deviations from what was asked for.
