With less than two months left for the implementation of the historic Goods and Services Tax (GST), the enterprises across the industry domain are gearing up for the uniform tax regime that intends to replace various Central and State government taxes. In a bid to ensure hassle-free GST compliance for businesses, Nagpur based technology software provider Excellon Software, recently launched a cloud-based GST software ‘EXACT’.
According to the company, EXACT is designed to provide innovative methods to tax payers by interacting with the GST Systems for an end-to-end compliance. EXACT also provide all user interfaces and convenience to enable a taxpayer to connect to the GST system via a secure system.
EXACT Software creates an interface with the company’s existing OEM ERP and helps streamline processes such as registration, tax payment, returns filing and other information exchange with the core GST system. It minimises the time and effort for tax filing, easy uploading of invoice data, matching on its purchase data and most importantly, getting a single stop shop for all GST related services, the official press release reads.
Excellon Software is among the select few companies recognised by the Government as the GST Suvidha Provider. Talking about the features of the software Vishnu Tambi, CEO of Excellon Software said that EXACT is completely secured software highly interoperable with the existing software solutions.

GST is on schedule for implementation from July 1. It is a uniform tax regime will be replacing the taxes levied by the Centre and States. The Centre and States will simultaneously levy Dual GST on a common tax base.
