Govt Should Take Steps To Resolve Dealers’ Issues: AKITDA

The All Kerala IT Dealers Association (AKITDA) recently organized an all-district event where the entire district association presidents and secretaries participated. Liju Raju the state president for the previous year chaired the state council this time. This year, during the ceremony, every president from the districts across the state was given the opportunity to share his views and plans for the promotion of the association in the district.

Raju was appreciated for his active participation and representation of the state association in various forums especially the All India FAIITA. Jamesh Joseph, the former president was the election officer who ensured a fair polling.

Representatives at the meeting also announced P.G Suresh, as the newly-elected president and that Ajimon George will continue his role as the state General sectetary. K R Shylesh was also announced as the new treasurer.

“AKITDA always stand for Dealer Community and still will continue to do so. Besides our key role, we will work together to create a strong relation with dealers and distributors at the state. We will support vendors who are prompt in after sales support”, says Ajimon George in a recent statement. The association also expects that the government will take steps to resolve the crisis of the dealer community by having proper system in the procurements of local bodies.

The new team is planning to introduce different insurance schemes this year. It will continue to support the charity project ‘Sneha sparsham’, an integrated project for rehabilitation of renal patients. The association said it provides financial assistance for hospital cases as well.
