LeEco Le 2, Le Max2 To Resume Flash Sale Registrations

LeEco’s new Le 2 and Le Max2 will go on their first flash sale on June 28 on Flipkart and LeMall, the company’s e-commerce platform in India. LeEco will open registrations for the two phones on June 20.

The first flash sale for Le 2 starts at 12 noon on June 28, and registrations will remain open till 11 AM on the day of the sale. For Le Max2, registrations will be open till 28 June 1 PM; flash sale for this phone opens at 2 pm.

LeEco is also offering some deals with the Le 2 and Le Max2 buyers. There will 10 per cent cashback for SBI credit card and debit card users, with a maximum cashback of INR 1200 per card.

LeEco is also bundling the free CDLA Earphones worth INR 1,990 with the smartphones for now. Also both smartphones include LeEco membership worth INR 4,900 to live entertainment channels, video on demand from Eros, etc.

Le 2 features a 5.5-inch Full HD display like Le 1s; in terms of overall design looks a lot like the Le 1s. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 chipset, 3GB RAM and 32GB storage, has 16 mp rear camera and an eight megapixel one on the front.

Le 2 will support 4G LTE bands in India, but doesn’t have support for expandable storage. The smartphones also drop 3.5 mm headphone jack in favour of USB Type-C audio port.Le 2 is backed by a 3000mAh battery with USB Type-C port for charging and data transfer. Le 2 is priced at INR 11,999.

Le Max2 features a 5.7-inch Quad HD display and is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor.

LeEco Le Max2 will be available in both 4GB and 6GB RAM variants. Le Max2 with 4GB RAM and 32GB storage costs INR 22,999, while the Le Max2 with 6GB RAM+ 64GB storage is priced at INR 29,999.

Le Max has a 21MP rear camera with PDAF and dual-LED flash. The rear camera sensor comes with f/2.0 aperture, and supports optical image stabilisation. The front camera is an 8MP one capable of recording 1080p videos. Le Max2 has a 3100mAh battery. All the three devices will run eUI 5.6 based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow.

While the Le 2 will compete with the Redmi Note 3, Yu Yunicorn, Moto G4 Plus, Le Max 2 with its 6GB RAM version will be a likely competitor for the OnePlus 3 and the Xiaomi Mi 5, both of which run the Snapdragon 820 processor in India.
