Reliance Retail has dropped prices of its entry-level smartphones. The company has announced a price cut on four of its LYF Flame smartphones – Flame 3, Flame 4, Flame 5, and Flame 6. The 4G-enabled smartphones are now available at INR 2,999. The move is considered as an attempt to put a pressure on the competitors.
The LYF Flame 3, Flame 4, Flame 5, and Flame 6 models run on a quad core 1.5GHz processor and feature Asahi DragontrailTM Glass for protection against dust and scratches. According toreports, The phones support dual SIM and come with a free Jio preview offer.
The phones have been customized to operate in 10 different Indian languages.
The Flame 3 features a 4-inch WVGA display, 512 MB RAM, 4 GB internal storage, 1700 mAh battery, 5 megapixel rear camera and a 2 megapixel front camera.

The Flame 4 comes with 8 GB internal storage and 1400mAh battery, while the Flame 5 features 1650 mAh battery and 4 GB internal storage along with 5 megapixel rear camera and 2 megapixel front camera. Flame 6 features 1750mAh battery, 2 megapixel front and rear camera with 4 GB internal storage.
The company has also laid down certain terms and conditions for purchase payout of these devices insisting that these handsets will have to be bought only from Reliance Digital Stores. The devices can also be purchased from Reliance-approved authorized distributors and retailers that are able to extend the same offers that the brand offers along with the 4G SIM card and its activation.
