Huawei To Launch Honor 5C In India On June 22

Chinese telecom giant Huawei will likely launch its Honor 5C smartphone in the India on June 22. Honor 5C was launched in China in April.

There are two variants of the Honor 5C – the 3G version is priced at CNY 899, or approximately INR 9,200 and the 4G-enabled version is priced at CNY 999, or around INR 10,200.

Honor 5C is powered by Huawei’s home-brewed HiSilicon Kirin 650 chipset coupled with 2GB RAM and 16GB of built-in memory. The dual-sim smartphone has a 5.2 inch Full HD display and comes with Android 6.0 Marshmallow out-of-the-box.

As far as imaging is concerned, Huawei Honor 5C has a 13 MP rear camera capable of recording 1080p videos. The front-facing camera also packs an impressive 8 megapixels. It is backed by a 3,000mAh non-removable battery.

Honor recently announced another budget smartphone – Honor 5A, in China. In terms of specifications, Huawei Honor 5A features a 5.5-inch HD display and is powered by a 1.2GHz octa-core Kirin 620 processor paired with 2GB of RAM. The phone offers 16GB of internal storage which can be expanded by microSD cards of up to 128GB in size.

Huawei Honor 5A comes with dual-sim functionality and runs Android Marshmallow 6.0 operating system. It flaunts a 13MP rear camera with LED flash and an 8MP front snapper for selfies.

On the connectivity front, the handset offers 4G, LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS and is backed by a 3,100mAh battery.
