Parag Shah Takes Over As TAIT’s President

Mumbai, Nov 4: The Mumbai-based Trade Association of Information Technology (TAIT) has elected its a new group of office bearers for the next one year.

Parag Shah, CEO, Futech Computers, was elected as the President, while KR Chaube, CEO, Techlink Infoware was elected as Vice President. Vivek Gandhi, Partner, Software Mart was elected as General Secretary and Rushabh Shah, Director, Graham Information Systems took over as Treasurer.

Speaking on the occasion, Parag Shah said, “Our association will continue with the transformation started last year and will forge new alliances and conduct several innovative events. Our utmost focus will be to save IT partners’ interests in the BIS compliance guidelines for IT products and to face business challenges from the online sales.”

Other newly elected office-bearers of the association include Champak Raj Gurjar, CEO, Maxtone Electronics; Bimal Jhaveri of Hardtrack Computers; Vikram Mehta of Techmatrix Infotech; Samir Mehta of Computer Corner and Vinod Vanigota of Chipcom Traders as Directors, and Chetan Timbadia of DC Infotech; Mukesh Mehta of Orno Computers and Peripherals; and Magan Gangani of Newtrack Computers as Co-Opted Directors.

Shah of Graham Information Systems will be the media spokesperson and Chairman, Events Committee and Gurjar has been elected as Chairman, Special Task Force.
