Karnataka HC Orders Intel To Pay 16.5 Cr Property Tax
Karnataka High Court has directed global chip maker Intel to pay INR 16.5 crore to the Bengaluru’s civic corporation towards property tax arrears by August 28. “Intel India gave in writing that it would abide by the High Court order to pay 50 per cent of the INR 34 crore it owes to us by August 28,” IANS report published in ET quoted Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) spokesman S.S.
