Micromax To Raise Share Of 4G Smartphones To 75%
Domestic handset maker, Micromax Informatics is planning to raise the share of 4G-compatible smartphones to 75 per cent of the entire product range by 2017. The company reportedly is in talks with ‘4G-focused telcos’ to cash on the high-speed data networks surge in the country. “Given our robust 4G strategy in the past few months, we have been able to increase 4G uptake unprecedentedly, and now around 35 per cent of our smartphones are 4G.
