Panaji, September 17: Following the spate of service-related complaints related to Digilite mother-board across many regions of Kerala, the company in charge of rendering after-sales support has come out with an assurance that all pending cases would be sorted out at the earliest.
It may be recalled that Channel Times had reported a few such cases (Read it Here). The response to the story has come from Digicare, the Service Division of Smartlink.
When contacted, Krishna Upadhyay, Business Unit Head of Digicare, told Channel Times, “With the stretched initiatives taken by our Kerala service team and with backend support from our central team at Goa, in the past three weeks, we have closed more than 750 calls in Kerala and by this weekend the pending cases will be taken care of.”
“With this, we will be clearing all old pending cases and only the recent cases will be there to manage within the turn-around-time (TAT),” he assured the channel partners.
James Joseph, state president, AKITDA, the association which had taken up the issue earlier, said, “We are happy to learn that Digicare has taken up the issue and has tried to resolve it. However, the biggest problem is in the Northern part of Kerala. We have to check with partners and association in those regions.”
Digilite, the motherboard brand of Smartlink Network Systems Ltd. had announced the launch of its new micro size H61 motherboard DL-H61M-VG4 with PCIE Gigabit LAN in August this year. (Read the Story)
