Neonode Signs Ingram Micro for Distribution of AirBar Devices in India

Distribution of AirBar Devices

Bengaluru: Optical interactive sensing technology company Neonode Inc. has signed a distribution agreement with Ingram Micro for the distribution of AirBar devices in India. AirBar gives touch and gesture sensing to both new and existing PCs. AirBar works with laptops running Windows 10 and most Chrome OS devices as a plug-and-touch solution.

Ingram Micro will take Neonode to retailers- online, offline and resellers in the education and enterprise markets across the country. Ingram Micro’s global alliances with major PC brands, including HP, Lenovo, Dell, Asus and Acer, makes it easier for Ingram Micro channel partners to attach AirBar together with these client systems as an offering to meet the customers’ demands.

“We know from our pre-orders on the AirBar website that India provides a huge opportunity for AirBar, and we are truly excited to access this market through Ingram Micro India,” said Remo Behdasht, SVP AirBar Devices, Neonode Inc.

“The booming Indian economy is the perfect market for AirBar with its large young and tech-savvy middle-class that appreciates great value-adding technology such as AirBar. Ingram Micro, the leading technology distributor in India, will give AirBar entry to all key retail and enterprise channels,” Behdasht added.

“We are greatly looking forward to bringing AirBar to the Indian market. AirBar represents an exciting opportunity to offer our customers something truly innovative and useful,” said Sanjay Achawal, Vice President, Ingram Micro India.
