MIC Electronics Subsidiary MICK Digital Enters Medical Devices Distribution Through AMTZ Partnership
Empanelment strengthens the company’s healthcare vertical and enables distribution of Made-in-India medical technologies to hospitals, healthcare institutions, and government healthcare programmes nationwide
MICK Digital India Limited has been empanelled as an authorised Channel Partner of Andhra Pradesh MedTech Zone (AMTZ), strengthening its healthcare technology portfolio and expanding access to indigenously manufactured medical devices across India.
The empanelment authorises MICK Digital to market, distribute, and support AMTZ-manufactured medical devices and healthcare equipment across hospitals, healthcare institutions, and government healthcare programmes nationwide. As an authorised channel partner, the company will also be eligible to participate in government procurement opportunities through platforms and initiatives such as GeM, National Health Mission (NHM), and various State Health Missions.
Through this partnership, MICK Digital will distribute a broad portfolio of healthcare technologies, including critical care equipment such as ventilators, patient monitors, and ICU systems; dialysis and renal care equipment; surgical and operation theatre solutions; diagnostic imaging and laboratory equipment; hospital infrastructure products; and medical consumables.
The partnership marks a significant step in MICK Digital’s expansion into India’s fast-growing healthcare technology sector and aligns with the Government of India’s vision of strengthening domestic medical device manufacturing under the Make in India and Atmanirbhar Bharat initiatives.
India’s medical devices market is estimated at approximately USD 11 billion and is projected to reach nearly USD 50 billion by 2030, creating substantial opportunities for domestic manufacturers and distribution partners. At a time when a significant portion of India’s medical device requirements continues to be met through imports, the collaboration aims to strengthen access to high-quality, locally manufactured healthcare technologies across the country.
By combining AMTZ’s manufacturing ecosystem with MICK Digital’s distribution and engineering capabilities, the partnership seeks to bridge the gap between indigenous manufacturing and the growing demand for advanced healthcare infrastructure. The initiative will focus on serving government district hospitals, medical colleges, community and primary health centres, private hospitals, nursing homes, diagnostic laboratories, imaging centres, defence healthcare establishments, and corporate hospital networks.

The empanelment is expected to strengthen MICK Digital’s healthcare business by enabling participation in large-scale institutional and government healthcare procurement programmes while providing hospitals and healthcare providers access to cost-effective, domestically manufactured medical equipment. The company also plans to leverage its technical expertise to offer installation, integration, and after-sales support services, creating a comprehensive healthcare technology distribution platform.
MICK Digital’s healthcare expansion builds on the strong foundation of its parent company, MIC Electronics Limited, a Hyderabad-headquartered electronics manufacturer with over 36 years of engineering and manufacturing expertise. Incorporated in 2024, MICK Digital was established as the Group’s dedicated commercial and solutions subsidiary, operating across Indian Railways, Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS/SMT), Medical Electronics Distribution, and LED Lighting Solutions.
